Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Arban Abrashi, is participating in the international ministerial conference on the process of coping with the demographic challenges in Southeast Europe, which is taking place in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of the Republic of Bulgaria as the rotating leadership of the European Cooperation Process in South-eastern Europe.
At this conference were presented the demographic challenges for 13 member countries and the steps to be taken by relevant countries.
For the first time from the representative of the Population Fund of the United Nations Organization were presented demographic data and forecasts for the demographic development of the Republic of Kosovo.
The conference will conduct works on 12 and 13 May.
