In Brussels was held the meeting for diplomas

With the mediation of the European Union the trilateral meeting was held to implement the agreement reached on 19 January 2016 which provides for the beginning of recognition of diplomas.

At this meeting, the delegation of the Republic of Kosovo, headed by Minister Edita Tahiri, the chief negotiator, reported on preparations for the implementation of this agreement and welcomed the fact that the EU reassigned the organization SPARK to administer the application process for certification of diplomas.
Also was appreciated the determination of the EU mechanism for the certification of diplomas which then both states are obliged to accept under the agreement. In the meeting the Serbian side also gave reports about the implementation of the agreement.
The EU commended the progress achieved, and stressed that in the future will be another meeting to finalize all the activities necessary to implement the agreement.

The delegation of the Republic of Kosovo was led by Minister Edita Tahiri and comprised: Arjeta Rexhaj Coordinator on the issue, Qemajl Marmullakaj, professional coordinator and director of the Office of Strategic Planning at OPM, Bekim Samadraxha, head of the division in Higher Education in MEST, Gazmir Raci, political advisers and Haxhi Bajraktari from Kosovo Embassy in Brussels.
