Dear citizens,
During the recent days there have been various briefings on the implementation of the Freedom of Movement Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia reached in Brussels on 21 November 2011. The uncertainties were related to the recognition of authorizations of vehicles issued by the relevant authorities of the Republic of Kosovo. In some cases, the Serbian side due to violation of the implementation of agreements reached in Brussels, did not allow the people of Kosovo who were the authorized drivers of vehicles to cross the border between the two countries.
Upon the intervention of the dialogue team and discussions within the technical implementation level of agreement on integrated border management (IBM), the issue with the Serbian side is clarified and this obstacle has been removed.
Therefore, we inform the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo that while crossing the border between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, for the drivers of vehicles with authorization can be made without obstacles.
