The Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri hosted in meeting today Heidemaria Gurer, Head of Department for the Western Balkans and East, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria, who was accompanied by the Austrian Ambassador in Kosovo, Johann Brieger.
The Minister Tahiri highly praised the relations between the two countries and appreciated continuous support of Austria for Kosovo.
In this meeting was confirmed the readiness to deepen cooperation between the two countries and the willingness of Austria to assist Kosovo in the path of Euro-Atlantic integration. Also, was discussed about importance of continuing
the Brussels Dialogue, being a joint conclusion that this process helps peace, good neighbourliness and stability in the region. In this context, the Minister Tahiri thanked Austria for their willingness shown to apply for telephone code for Kosovo at the International Organization of Telecommunications (ITU).
From her part, Ms. Gurer stressed that the Austrian state will continue to support full integration of Kosovo in international institutions, and strengthening the state of Kosovo through comprehensive reforms.
In the end, the two interlocutors, expressed willingness that relations between the two countries be further strengthened in the future.
