Office for Good Governance (OGG)

It is responsible and mandated to advise the Prime Minister and relevant units of the Office of Prime Minister, ministries and local level in the spheres of good governance, human rights, equal opportunities and anti-discrimination issues.

The mandate and purpose of the Office for Good Governance is to increase institutional and accountability, public involvement in policy-making and decision-making, as well as adherence to local and international conventions, policies and legislation on human rights.

The Office for Good Governance within the Office of the Prime Minister drafts, coordinates and monitors the implementation of policies, legislation and leads government support mechanisms in the areas of good governance and human rights.
