During the World Leaders of Change Summit held in Istanbul in Turkey, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, also met with the Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohamed Al-Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, with whom he discussed about relations between the two countries.
During the meeting there was discussion about the recognition of Kosovo’s independence by Kuwait and building of overall cooperation between the two countries. Of particular interest during the meeting were the economic cooperation and the opportunities that Kosovo offers for foreign investors.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi got promises by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait that this state will seriously consider recognition of the independence of Kosovo very soon along the modalities to find better ways to develop economic cooperation between the two countries.
