Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosova, Hashim Thaçi, received in a working meeting today the Special Representative of the European Union for Kosova, Pieter Feith, and discussed with him the recent developments in the northern part of Kosova.
Mr. Thaçi and Mr. Feith agreed on the need to have a serious engagement and joint commitment to undertake the next steps of cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Kosova and the EU mission in Kosova in applying democratic criteria.
Prime Minister Thaçi underlined on the occasion that there is a strong consent that the territorial integrity of Kosova is protected, guaranteed, inviolable, unique and indivisible, adding that the close cooperation with the international community in Kosova will continue through advice and support.
European Union Special Representative, Pieter Feith, expressed in favor of joint efforts also with KFOR in order to maintain security, peace and stability in any part of Kosova. Mr. Feith reiterated the stance that the mission of the European Union in Kosova will cover all parts of Kosova and will be functional in all the territory of Kosova.
