Lugishte, Has, 12 April 2024
On the 25th anniversary of the fall of the martyrs and martyrs in Lugishte of Has, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, paid tribute to the cemetery and placed flowers at the memorial erected in honor of 14 fallen and 40 martyrs.
He said that their memory is never erased and their name is never lost. Their blood is in the roots of the state and freedom that we enjoy today, the Prime Minister emphasized.
Together with Deputy Prime Minister Donika Gërvalla Schwarz, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Ҫeku and members of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti also visited the museum tower of this village.
“The sacrifice and struggle of the inhabitants of Lubizhda of Has for the liberation of the country is a painful and glorious part of the history of our people”, wrote Prime Minister Kurti in the book of memories
