The Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi travelled on an official visit to Saudi Arabia. The visit of Prime Minister Thaçi comes after the invitation of his Highness, the king of the Saudi Arabia. During the visit, Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi will be meeting with senior officials of the Saudi state.
Today, Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi will be conduct a meeting with king Abdullah with who he will talk about strengthening the collaboration between Kosovo and Saudi Arabia. In a separate meeting, the Prime Minister will also meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Saud Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
During his visit in Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi will also hold separate meetings with the General Secretary of the Islamic Conference, Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, and with the director of the Islamic Development Bank, Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al-Madani.
In a separate meeting, Prime Minister Thaçi is expected to meet with the business community with the purpose of informing this community of the opportunities which the Republic of Kosovo provides for developing businesses and investments.
