The Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, sent his best wishes to believers of the Orthodox faith in Kosovo for the Christmas holiday.
The telegram stated:
Honorable citizens of the Orthodox faith,
Orthodox Christmas is being celebrated this year in an independent, sovereign and democratic Kosovo.
While expressing best wishes to you, in the name of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, and in my name, I hope that peace, happiness, harmony and well-being will preside over your families.
I hope that this will be a year of success and all around progress for all of our citizens, a year of respect for one another, tolerance and faith in our good future.
Best wishes for Orthodox Christmas!
