Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister Mrs. Edita Tahiri received in a meeting a group of students from Arcadia University

Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ms. Edita Tahiri, received in a meeting a group of students from Arcadia University from New York led by Professor Alex N. Grigorev.

Ms. Tahiri initially informed students for the road and the processes Kosovo has gone through in various periods of history while she stated that Kosovo is engaged towards Euro-Atlantic integrations and has undertaken powerful reforms in meeting the criteria required for membership.

Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri stated that Kosovo declared its independence in year 2008 and since then the youngest state has achieved great progress in a number of areas involving economic development, justice reforms and infrastructure improvements by providing conditions that are more attractive for those who want to invest in Kosovo.

Ms. Tahiri also stated that Kosovo provided the best conditions in the region in terms of minority rights and is engaged in establishing good relations with its neighbours.

From his part, Professor Grigorev thanked Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri for the reception and for the abundant information provided to students while students expressed their satisfaction, as they are able to closely witness the progress of Kosovo.
