Today, Prime Minister Thaçi returned from his official state visit to the Republic of Estonia.
The Prime Minister, in a press conference at Prishtina International Airport, said that, with the Estonian senior officials, he discussed bilateral relations between Kosovo and Estonia and sharing Estonia’s experience in electronic governance, standardizing the cadastral service, the agricultural sector and education reform.
The Prime Minister considered his visit to Estonia as very successful, mentioning that, with these visits and exchanges, Kosovo is becoming a member of the large European and Euro-Atlantic family.
“This visit marks an important step in strengthening cooperation between Kosovo and Estonia – a country that recognized Kosovo just a few days after the declaration of independence. We are now building inter-state and friendly relations,” said the Prime Minister, adding that he received assurances of Estonia’s firm support for Kosovo’s path towards integration into the EU and NATO.
Prime Minister Thaçi also mentioned that the Prime Minister of Estonia will visit Kosovo soon.
