Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has expected today the Minister of External Affairs of Finland, Ilkka Kanerva, which he informed about intensive preparations that are being made relating to the close of the issue of the status of Kosovo and relating to the decision of Kosovo institutions to announce the independence very soon.
Mr.Thaçi said in the meeting that Kosovo is a successful story of international investments for democracy built, by repeating once more that the nation of Kosovo will be informed very soon for the date of independence announcement.
Minister of External Affairs of Finland, Ikka Kanerva, said that his country will have the same statement as other countries of European Union, and he has shown the hope that all the countries of EU will have unique statement with regard to Kosovo. Mr.Kanerva has assess as very important the implementation of the Plan of Ahtisaari and has requested from the institutions of the country an attention for minorities and guarantee for their rights.
