Deputy Ministers,
Deputies of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo,
Honourable citizens of the Ashkali community,
Allow me, in my own name and on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to congratulate on this great day for you and the town of Ferizaj.
The building or the start of the construction of 44 houses in the village of Dubrava, in Ferizaj municipality is just the start of great investment that will occur in the future in your municipality, for your families and people.
Investment by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo in shelter for the Ashkali community was an earlier priority and remains one today and in the future.
I want to assure you that the building of 44 houses is just the start. You will have the strong support of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo also in the future.
I will work closely with Mayor Aliu, with everyone in Ferizaj, so that we work harder to create better conditions for the entire Ashkali community.
We have all met before. We have talked directly about your concerns, problems and worries and those you still have. I promise you that we share your concerns, and so we are here today among you to start building these new, modern homes, for a new life, in a new Kosovo, in a Kosovo which is the homeland of all its citizens, a European Kosovo.
Allow me on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to express the greatest respect for the concrete commitment of the Deputy of the Kosovo Assembly, Danush Ademi, for his untiring work for you, members of the Ashkali community.
We have met Deputy Ademi, we have discussed issues and he has insisted on further investment.
So you should be grateful to Danush for his excellent work and you should be sure that while Danush represents you, you will have a new life, new homes and better welfare.
I am convinced that each community should be envious of the excellent work that Danush has done and is doing.
Honourable guests,
Thank you very much for your hospitality.
