Prime Minister Thaçi inaugurated asphalted road Banjë- Vrellë in Istog municipality

The Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Transport and Post-Telecommunications, Mr. Adem Grabovci, solemnly inaugurated in Banja today the asphalted road Banjë-Vrellë, in Istog municipality.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi, told the inhabitants of Vrellë and Banjë that this road is an important project and of great benefit to the citizens of this area.
Prime Minister Thaçi said that the Government of Kosovo is committed to improve the living conditions for all the citizens of Kosovo.
“The inaugurated road today is just one of the many projects that the Government of Kosovo is turning into a reality,” pointed out Prime Minister Thaçi.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo further promised that the Government of Kosovo has foreseen to invest over 6 million Euros in premises and infrastructure in the municipality of Istog.
 “We will work for the benefit of all the citizens in all the areas of Kosovo, in order to improve the living infrastructure and we will do this in accordance with the highest European standards,” said Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi.
On his part, deputy Minister of Transport and Post-Telecommunications, Mr. Adem Grabovci, said that this ministry will extend its activities throughout Kosovo. Mr. Grabovci said that other important projects for the people of Kosovo will be implemented soon, and mentioned as an example the asphalting of the road Rakosh-Shushicë.
The asphalted road Banjë- Vjellë, with a distance of 6 kilometers, has been financed by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications (MTPT) and it has cost about 750,000 Euros.
