Prime minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, had a meeting today with deputy commissar of KPS, general Sheremet Ahmeti.
Prime minister Thaçi emphasized on this occasion that KPS has the fully support and help of Kosovo government and she will corporate with all authorities in a very close collaboration in the eve of Kosovo independence.
Mr. Thaçi said further that immediately after independence will be done the professional reorganization and transformation of KPS. “KPS is a very successful story of Kosovo , so it is a professional and multiethnic service. The government of Kosovo will support KPS in the progress of work according to highest European standards , said prime minister.
Deputy commissar of KPS , Sheremet Ahmeti, informed prime minister Thaçi about intensive preparations that are done to create a secure environment for all citizens in the eve of declaration of independence of Kosovo, adding the Kosovo police service is in the highest level of responsibility to keep order and peace in Kosovo. “we have done our planning’s. Our engagements will not miss and sure that we are ready to manage the situation in the day of independence declaration of Kosovo ”, said Mr. Ahmeti.
