Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi congratulated the leader of the Socialist Party of Albania, Edi Rama, on winning the elections by the Alliance for the European Albania, in the elections of
June 23, 2013
The congratulatory letter reads:
Dear Mr. Rama,
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and on my personal behalf, I wish to express my sincere congratulations to you on the June 23rd elections, in which Albania showed political maturity and high culture of democracy. The victory of your coalition, the calmness, transparency and acceptance of election results by political parties indicate Albania’s determination for values and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Congratulating you for electoral victory in June 23, I have firm confidence that the government led by your leadership and that of Mr. Meta will maintain and guarantee national unity, stability and prosperity of Albania.
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to further deepen the cooperation with institutions of the Republic of Albania, in the European joint European journey, as two independent states.
