Prime Minister Mustafa hosted the Mayors of Peja, Deçan, Istog, and Junik

Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, met with the mayors of Peja, Deçan, Istog, and Junik.

During the joint meeting, which was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister, Hajredin Kuçi and the mayors Gazmend Muhaxheri, Rasim Selmanaj, Haki Rugova and the mayors Agron Kuçi, it was discussed about process of marking the boundary between the Republic of Republic of Kosovo and the mayors Montenegro.

In a very constructive atmosphere, it was discussed at length the views, complaints, comments, suggestions and options available to address this important issue for  the state in the interests of citizens and the state of Kosovo.

Prime Minister Isa Mustafa and mayors also discussed the possibilities of coordination on the issue of full use and without obstacle of areas in the border by people living nearby, and the opportunities for providing all guarantees and support for the realization of this right.

During the meeting, they stressed the mutual readiness to continue the dialogue and comprehensive consultations with all other interested parties on this important issue for the country and for the citizens of Kosovo.

Kosovo’s government will work in arguing the facts about all the issues addressed by the mayors and citizens.

Prime Minister Mustafa, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister, has met today with the Director of the Forestry Agency of Kosovo, Ahmet Zejnullahu and Managing Director of KEK, Arben Gjukaj, with whom they discussed all issues related to forest areas of Kosovo along the border with Montenegro, as well as KEK infrastructure in that area, in order to fully clarify the issues related to demarcation of the border with Montenegro.
