Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, attended the award ceremony of the National literary Prize on Life’s work “Azem Shkreli” and other annual prizes for Literature for 2014, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, on the occasion of the celebration of the seventh anniversary of Kosovo Independence.
Prime Minister Mustafa, during the ceremony, handed over the National Literary Award on Life’s Work “Azem Shkreli”, to the Academician Ali Aliu, awarded by a professional jury.
Annual Prize for Literature for best book of poetry, was given to the poet Nexhat Halimi, for the book “Kaq vetëm Fedorë”, while the Annual Prize Award for the best book of literary criticism and essays, was given to the researcher and writer Osman Gashi, for the book “Literature and myth”.
Whereas, the annual award prize for the best book translated into Albanian, was given to the Professor of French language Masar Stavileci for translation of the book “Neveria” of the author and the French philosopher Jean Paul Sartre.
