The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, continue the meetings today as part of his working visit to the United Kingdom.

He was hosted by the shadow Secretary of Foreign Affairs, at the same time the MP of the Labor Party, David Lammy and the shadow Minister for Europe, Stephen Doughty, with whom he discussed the relations between the two countries, the areas of potential for their further deepening and for the latest developments in the Republic of Kosovo.

Prime Minister Kurti informed them of the achievements and progress of Kosovo in the last two years, despite the world crises faced by the entire continent of Europe, but not only, and the situation in the four municipalities in the north of the country after tensions and attacks by constant attacks on institutions, police, KFOR soldiers and media teams by criminal groups motivated and orchestrated by official Belgrade.

As for the need to de-escalate the situation and normalize relations with Serbia, he added that the Government has presented its proposal based on the principle of the rule of law, which addresses and deals with the attacks so far and paves the way for moving forward as he has continuously insisted on the irreplaceable importance of the full, quick and unconditional implementation of the Basic Agreement and its Annex.
