Prime Minister Kurti met Ambassador Guérot and Deputy Director Guiaugué from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met for a friendly conversation the Ambassador of France in Kosovo, Mr. Olivier Guérot and the Deputy Director from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe, Mr. Sylvain Guiaugué.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the success achieved in the Berlin process through the signing of three agreements, which is good news for the citizens of the six countries of the Western Balkans.

He informed his French friends about the progress of the work of the institutions, the security situation in general, with an emphasis on the northern part of Kosovo, the commitment to the European Reforms Agenda and reiterated the urgency of closing the visa liberalization process for Kosovo.

The developments of the last few days were also discussed. Prime Minister Kurti said that the boycott is instigated and orchestrated by official Belgrade and is the result of their continuous destructive actions in the dialogue between the two countries. He reiterated that the Government of Kosovo is committed to continuing the dialogue and committed to order and rule of law, peace and security in Kosovo and the region.

The French ambassador invited Prime Minister Kurti to the Francophonie week, which begins next week, with the screening of films from the rich French cinematography. On this occasion, Prime Minister Kurti expressed gratitude for the support given by France in the field of art and the enrichment of the cultural scene in Kosovo.

This friendly meeting took place on the occasion of the visit of a large delegation of the state of France to Kosovo, consisting of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in which case technical working meetings are being held with our respective ministries in the field of police cooperation, the fight against organized crime and terrorism, migration management, asylum, visa liberalization, Francophonie and bilateral relations.
