The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, today hosted the representatives of the Women’s Economic Forum (FEG).
In this meeting, the Government’s cooperation with civil society organizations, especially women’s organizations, was appreciated. The possibilities of joint engagement were highlighted, to further strengthen economic development and to eliminate social inequalities that hinder the economic independence of women and girls. The labor law was also discussed, with a focus on maternity and parental leave provisions.
Prime Minister Kurti reiterated the Government’s work and commitment to equal rights and opportunities for everyone, without distinction. He mentioned today’s decision for 1,882 students, girls and women who were declared winners of scholarships in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
The representatives of FEG participated in this meeting: Saxhide Mustafa from Riinvest, Igballe Rogova from RrGK, Gjyljeta Devolli from RrOGRAEK, Nora Latifi-Jashari from GAP, Luljeta Demolli from KKSGj and Rrezarta Krasniqi from D4D.
