On the occasion of marking the 27th anniversary of the fall of the Hero of the Nation Zahir Pajaziti, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, paid tribute and laid wreaths at the “Tower of Zahir Pajaziti” Memorial Complex, in Orllan of Podujeva.
After the tributes, at the Memorial Complex, Prime Minister Kurti, accompanied by the Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, the Vice-President Saranda Bogujevci and members of the Assembly of Kosovo, then continued to the city of Podujeva, to pay homage to the statues of the heroes Zahir Pajaziti, Edmond Hoxha, Hakif Zejnullahu and Ilir Konushevci, where they laid wreaths of fresh flowers, in honor of their life, work and sacrifice for Kosovo.
Accompanied by the families of the heroes and other fellow fighters, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that we remember them with great longing and pride for their work, work, life and sacrifice for Kosovo, for the entire Albanian nation. Zahir together with his comrades and other heroes are examples of patriotism.
“Their sacrifice is the history of Kosovo, on the foundations of which we build our bright future by remembering and recalling them forever”, said Prime Minister Kurti.
He said that Zahir, Hakif and Ilir were dedicated to the liberation war, the actions before the battles, they were the ones who gave an extraordinary impetus to the liberation of Kosovo, but at the same time they were the ones who increased the people’s trust and self-confidence within the ranks of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Today it was 27 years since the heroic fall of Zahir Pajaziti, Hakif Zejnullahu and Edmond Hoxha.
They were the war before the war, they were the actions before the battles, and they were the sacrifice for the freedom of the people and the liberation of the country.
Therefore, even today, we remember them with great longing and pride for their work, work, life and sacrifice for Kosovo, for the entire Albanian nation.
Zahir, Hakif and Ilir gave an extraordinary boost to the liberation of Kosovo, since on the one hand they increased self-confidence within the ranks of the Kosovo Liberation Army, and on the other hand they also increased the confidence of the people in the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Their sacrifice is the history of Kosovo, on the foundations of which we build our bright future by remembering and recalling them forever.
Glory to Zahir, Hakif, Edmond, Ilir and all the heroes and martyrs of the nation.
