In commemoration of the 40 killed by Serbian forces in the neighborhood “Dardania” in Peja, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, paid tribute to the memorial plaque for the massacre of March 27, 1999.

“Justice and truth are necessary for long-term peace and security for everyone, and for good neighborly and normal relations”, said Prime Minister Kurti.

He added that Serbia must face its criminal past in Kosovo, while the Kosovo Prosecutor’s Office, the Special Prosecutor’s Office must work day and night, so that those responsible are identified, brought to justice and in this way the rehabilitation of the victims can begin. , when it is known that the victims are not only the killed and kidnapped, but also their families, their relatives and our whole society.

Together with the Prime Minister, Andin Hoti, Chairman of the Governmental Commission for Missing Persons and the deputies of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Mimoza Kusari Lila and Fatmire Kollçaku also paid tribute.

Together with colleagues from the Assembly of the Republic, with activists of our Movement here in Peja, we paid tribute to the headstone, bowing down and commemorating the 40 killed during the last war in Kosovo by Serbian forces here in the “Dardania” neighborhood.
