Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, took part in the conference “Western Balkans 6”, which held its works in Brussels.
At this meeting, which is being attended by prime ministers and ministers of foreign affairs and the sectors of the economy of Balkan countries, Prime Minister Mustafa was accompanied by First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hashim Thaci and Ministers Lutfi Zharku, Hykmete Bajrami and Blerand Stavileci.
In his speech at the high-level meeting, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa highly assessed the results of the Conference “Western Balkans”, starting from the meeting held in Berlin to the meeting held in Pristina on 25 March this year.
“Kosovo enjoys the opportunity to be part of the basic network project and we welcome the opportunity to utilize all the benefits that this project brings”, said Prime Minister of Kosovo.
Further, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa said that the road infrastructure is a prerequisite for sustainable economic cooperation of the Balkan countries.
At the opening of this important meeting, Balkan leaders were also addressed by Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for Neighbourhood and European Policy and Enlargement Negotiations and European Commissioner for Transport, Violeta Bulc.
In this meeting was also adopted a joint statement in which the leaders of the Western Balkan countries reaffirm their commitment to the communications, good neighbourly relations, regional cooperation and European integration.
