Prime Minister Isa Mustafa received the Assistant US Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland

Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, met with Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland.
Prime Minister Isa Mustafa expressed gratitude of the Government and the people of Kosovo for the continuous support of the United States of America, noting that for this permanent support, the Republic of Kosovo will always be grateful.
Prime Minister Mustafa also expressed the commitment of the Kosovo Government for further strengthening of bilateral relations with the United States of America, as a key strategic partner of the Republic of Kosovo.

During the meeting they discussed the current processes in Kosovo and beyond. Prime Minister Mustafa and Assistant US Secretary Nuland talked about progress achieved in Kosovo, developments in the region, regional and Euro-Atlantic integration processes, as well as for the progress in the dialogue for the normalization of relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia, mediated by the EU.

Prime Minister Mustafa and Assistant Secretary Nuland also discussed the creation of the Specialized Chambers and the great importance for Kosovo this foundation has, since it proves that Kosovo has the capacity to make important decisions about its future, to meet international obligations as well as to move forward in Euro-Atlantic integration. In this context, Prime Minister Mustafa stressed that the Republic of Kosovo will assume all the obligations it has and will move safely on its way towards Euro-Atlantic future.

Prime Minister Isa Mustafa informed the Assistant Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland also for concrete steps being undertaken by the Government of Kosovo for economic development, strengthening the rule of law, fight against terrorism, violent extremism, corruption and organized crime.

Assistant US Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland praised the progress being achieved in Kosovo, expressing further support of the United States of America to Kosovo.
