Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has held a meeting with the director general of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) Kathryne Bomberger. The meeting focused on the fate of missing persons during the war in Kosovo.
Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi expressed the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to close this open wound, by shedding light on the fate of missing persons.
“The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has raised the issue of missing persons in the dialogue started with Serbia and requires a greater commitment by international factors in exerting pressure on the Belgrade authorities to provide the information necessary for all cases of missing persons during the war. “
At the meeting it was agreed that the Governmental Commission for Missing Persons and other institutions of the Republic of Kosovo should deepen the collaboration with the International Commission on Missing Persons on illuminating the fate of all missing persons.
