The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening the rule of law, and in this regard he also sees the start of the Functional Revision of the Rule of Law Sector.
In the opening of the functional review process, organized by the Ministry of Justice, in front of the numerous guests, President Hashim Thaci, Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli, representatives of the US Embassy, EU, Kosovo Judicial and Prosecutorial Council , Prime Minister Haradinaj stressed that the rule of law is a priority of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, and this is evidenced by the time, energy and resources devoted to the rule of law.
Prime Minister Haradinaj thanked the international partners for their continued support, and stressed that “The Government, having the priority of advancing the justice system, has considered a study of the entire sector as reasonable, and today it is seen that this functional revision of the rule of law sector is in line with our strategic objectives and in the function of the implementation of the obligations of the Republic of Kosovo on the Euro-Atlantic integration processes and at the same time towards the partnership with the strategic partners of the country. ”
Further, Prime Minister Haradinaj said that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has taken the necessary actions to support this process, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening the rule of law in the country.
Stressing that the government will be unsparing in this regard, the Prime Minister thanked all the actors, all institutions involved in the rule of law and invited them, together with this functional, historical review in our country to do it together, and rejoice all.
