In an official note sent to the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, Jakup Krasniqi, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, requested an emergency session of the Assembly of Kosovo, starting from 20:00.
The request occurred in accordance with Article 69 paragraph 4 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and Article 38 of the Rule of the Assembly of Kosovo, as well as pursuant to the Resolution approved by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo on the normalization of relations between the Republics of Kosovo and of Serbia.
During this emergency session, Prime Minister Thaçi will report on the Normalization Agreement between the Republics of Kosovo and of Serbia, which was approximated on April 19, 2013 in Brussels.
The Agreement approximated by the two prime ministers is in the phase of granting consent for the formal signing, which requires prior consent from the representatives of both countries at the latest by Monday, April 22, 2013.
