Government of the Republic of Kosovo held its 4th regular meeting

Government of the Republic of Kosovo, led by the Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, has held its fourth regular meeting, whereby approved documents and policies of its constitutional and legal area of responsibility of the Republic of Kosovo.
 
The decision approved in the meeting today was on the final expropriation of immovable properties and public interest holders which affected by the construction of the national road Pristina-Mitrovica. Expropriations in the cadastral zone, Babimoc and Millosheva of Municipality of Obilic in Lower Stanoc, Upper Stanoc, Grace and Great River of the Municipality of Vushtrri.

The decision shall cancel the adopted expropriation by the final decision 06/160, dated 12.11.2013, on those cadastral zones.

Government of the Republic of Kosovo has approved the request of Pristina Municipality to transfer the budgetary funds from capital expenditure categories into the category of subsidies and transfers. The request is related to implementation of co-generation project of the heat energy of Prishtina.

In the meeting today, five more concept documents on amendment and supplementation of laws have been approved: concept document on amendment and supplementation of the Law on copyright and related rights, concept document on amendment and supplementation of the Law on Law on Fire and Rescue, concept document on amendment and supplementation of the Law on Fire Protection, concept document on electronic identity cards (biometric) and concept document for drafting the Draft Law on Amendment and Supplementation of the Law on Social-Economic Council.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hashim Thaçi informed the Cabinet on his visit last week in Strasbourg and Brussels. Deputy Prime Minister Thaçi emphasized the importance of meetings held in the Council of Europe, in the European Union Headquarters and in the NATO Headquarters, and Kosovo diplomacy expects a close coordination with the relevant activities of the Euro-Atlantic institutions.
