In a farewell meeting, Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister Edita Tahiri received the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Hans-Dieter Steinbach, who congratulated the Deputy Prime Minister for the three agreements reached in the technical dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia by stating that this is a contribution for the free movements of the citizens, improving their lives, but also in approximating Kosovo with the European Union.
Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri initially thanked the ambassador for the distinguished contribution in supporting the state of Kosovo, in strengthening Kosovo’s sovereignty and democracy.
Mrs. Tahiri stated that in terms of the dialogue Kosovo is interested in attaining results which serve to the interests of the citizens of both countries and of the entire region as well as in meeting the Copenhagen criteria which pertain to the good neighboring relations and in promoting regional cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri underscored that the Government of Kosovo remains committed in strengthening the Euro-Atlantic perspective of the new state of Kosovo.
