Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri meets David Donoghue, Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ireland

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Edita Tahiri met David Donoghue Political Director in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ireland, with whom she talked mainly about the current political and institutional situation in our country and Euro-Atlantic integration. 

Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri thanked the Irish Government for contributing to Kosovo during different periods and expressed appreciation for the strengthening of relations between the two states.

In addition, Deputy Prime Minister Edita Tahiri informed him of the Kosovo Government’s vision for a Euro-Atlantic Kosovo. According to Ms. Tahiri, deep reforms have been undertaken to this end for good governance, economic development and rule of law. Meanwhile, it was noted that regional cooperation is a good opportunity leading toward the Euro-Atlantic path.  Technical dialogue was assessed to be a European method of contributing to better public welfare.

Both expressed their commitment to continuing cooperation between the two states in the future.
