Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi: All prosecutors, judges and lawyers have a legal basis, the law

On the occasion of the 43th anniversary of the establishment of the Chamber of Advocates, First Deputy Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo, Hajredin Kuçi took part in the conference, “Opportunities of cooperation between Kosovo institutions and jurists of the Diaspora”.

This conference was organized by the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo and the Kosovo Chamber of Advocates.

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi said that this note is marking the anniversary of a day for the human rights and freedoms of the parties that at the same time face various court proceedings.

Furthermore, Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi stressed that advocacy in Kosovo has reason to feel proud of the work and its activity for four decades in Republic of Kosovo, has protected with dignity not only the parties and that all good lawyers of the Republic of Kosovo now and earlier , have done the work for justice, freedom and human rights.

“The way that operated the work in the prosecution, court and attorney, has the logic of full operation of the system of law and order in our country,” said Mr. Kuçi, adding that there will be no good legal system in our country, if there will be insufficient space for our prosecutors to carry out the work in an impartial, independent and professional way.

Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi said that if the parties, defendants and others feel not good or “tremble” before prosecutors and judges, also judges and prosecutors, should ” tremble” before good lawyers. He also said that all prosecutors, judges and lawyers have a legal basis, the law.

Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi further said that this conference is a good signal of sharing our thoughts, because competition does not undermine the legal system, but strengthens it.

“Let me tell you lawyers of the country and you who come from abroad, it is very important to be competitive and to bring Kosovo tradition of those countries where human rights are fully respected and where the legal system is fully functioning, “said Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi.

Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi, after this conference, through a letter addressed with a request proposal the Mayor of Prishtina, Shpend Ahmeti, for sharing a building parcel that will be dedicated to the construction of the facility for the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Kosovo.
