Today, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Edita Tahiri, met Teuta Arifi, Deputy Prime Minister of Macedonia, who was on a working visit to our country. In the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri emphasized the importance of this visit for strengthening further bilateral relations in all areas.
The two counterparts assessed political relations and close cooperation as excellent between the two countries. Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri said that Kosovo and its Government is very determined to deploy its sovereignty in the northern part of the country and to offer security for all citizens of the country.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Macedonia, Teuta Arifi said that the Government of Macedonia supports the Government’s decision to take under control its customs points, a decision which will contribute to establishing free trade in the entire region.
