Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi received in a farewell meeting the head of the UNICEF office in Kosovo, Nona Zicherman

The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted the head of the UNICEF office in Kosovo, Nona Zicherman, in a farewell meeting.

Thanking her for the joint work, contribution and cooperation, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi expressed his gratitude for the continuous support to our objectives and priorities for an inclusive society and full attention to marginalized groups and minorities. Initiatives undertaken by the Government were mentioned, such as the Superpuna platform and the impact produced by it, or even Kosovo Generation Unlimited, which was described by Ms. Zicherman as a vision turned into reality.

“We want to find as many instruments as possible for the support of citizens, not only so that it is diversified, but also reaches as many citizens as possible and is comprehensive. Let’s increase and cultivate the skills of young people and continue our commitment to reducing unemployment,” said Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi.

At the end of the meeting, the importance of the population census process, which started on April 5, was emphasized, which will provide a useful contribution to more accurate data and therefore more targeted policies, in the service of the progress of development of the country. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi wished Ms. Zicherman further success in the next endeavor.
