The Aeronautical and Railway Accident and Incident Investigation Commission (AAIIC) at the Office of the Prime Minister in its Extraordinary Meeting held on 04.09.2018 has decided to open investigations into the railway accident on the Prishtina-Peja railway line in village Dush of Klina municipality at the regular railway crossing (KM 47 + 900) on 03.09.2018 at about 5:45 pm, where was involved the passenger train Nr. 761 with locomotive 2620-016 and a Mercedes 190 vehicle.
In the accident, three people have died, one of whom is a 7-year-old.
The Aeronautical and Railway Accident and Incident Investigation Commission (AAIIC) will conduct an independent investigation and will come up with a final report that will be forwarded to the Government and the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
