Kosovo maintains a good friendship with the Slovenian people and this friendship should continue. This is the message of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, after the reception of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Karl Erjavec.
Prime Minister Haradinaj said that “there is a good climate between Kosovo and Slovenia for cooperation in many areas. Slovenia is one of the largest investors in the country and Kosovo is interested in continuing this economic partnership, improving the export and import balance with the country. ”
Prime Minister Haradinaj urged continued support of Slovenia in the international plan. “Your support for new recognitions, membership in INTERPOL, UNESCO, in the Euro-Atlantic integration process is of great significance to us. We are a Euro-Atlantic country – This is our destination, “said Prime Minister Haradinaj, who once again reiterated Kosovo’s position to respect each ethnicity in the country.
“The establishment of the Kosovo army with a constitutional mandate does not change the security balance in the region, but rather contributes to it,” said Prime Minister Haradinaj.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Karl Erjavec, praised the great achievements and progress made in Kosovo during these ten years of citizenship, expressing his country’s readiness and commitment to bilateral cooperation in the field of economy and support of Kosovo on its integration path, membership in international organizations, and leadership of regional initiatives.
Part of the meeting was also Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, Kosovo’s ambassador to Slovenia, Nexhmi Rexhepi and Slovenian Ambassador to Kosovo, Bojan Bertoncelj.
