The Prime Minister Haradinaj: We are dedicated for everlasting friendship with US

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, hosted in a meeting the US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Wess Mitchell, who is staying for an official visit in Kosovo.
The discussion was focused on the political developments in the country, US support for the building and consolidation of Kosovo, as well as deepening of cooperation between both countries. The Prime Minister Haradinaj thanked the Assistant Secretary Mitchell for the unsparing US support, emphasizing the need for further support in all integration processes of Kosovo, but also the economic development and strengthening the rule of law.
“The support which the US has given and is giving to Kosovo in all state-building processes, and now in its Euro-Atlantic path, is vital for the Republic of Kosovo. We are grateful for all that United States has done and is doing for Kosovo, and also we are all dedicated for everlasting friendship with US”, stated the Prime Minister Haradinaj.
Moreover, the Prime Minister Haradinaj stated that the Government he leads is focused on the implementation, and economic development of the country is a priority.
During this meeting it was also discussed about the establishment of Kosovo Army through a constitutional and legal process, as well as for the dialogue with Serbia, which, as the Prime Minister stated, should be concluded with mutual recognition.
US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Wess Mitchell, reconfirmed the support of United States for Kosovo in all fields, encouraging to work more in strengthening the rule of law, but also economic growth.
This meeting was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, Deputy Prime Ministers Enver Hoxhaj and Dalibor Jevtiq, Deputy American Ambassador to Kosovo, Colleen Hyland, and Kosovar Ambassador to US, Vlora Çitaku.
