The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, attended the reception organized by the consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in Iowa. In this reception was emphasized the important role of the Iowa state in building the capacities of the Kosovo Security Force, as well as the possibilities of advancing the relations between our two states.
Before those present, Prime Minister Haradinaj said that Kosovo citizens highly appreciate the contribution of the United States and in particular of the state of Iowa for the help and cooperation so far in strengthening the statehood of Kosovo.
Attending this reception was also the Minister of Education, Shyqiri Bytyqi, who together with the representatives of the National and Academic Guard of Iowa stressed the need for cooperation with Kosovo institutions in all areas of common interest with an emphasis on the field of education.
Consul Xhavit Gashi presented the achievements of the cooperation so far, but also plans for the future.
