Prime Minister Mustafa, the government committed to elucidate the fate of missing persons

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, on the occasion of marking the 30 August – International Day for Missing Persons, placed wreaths near the Memorial dedicated to the missing persons.

Recalling and expressing the grief for the missing in Kosovo, Prime Minister Mustafa said that for many years families are living in anxiety and waiting for their beloved ones.

“It is a moment when it is difficult to express. It's about our missing, the people who are waiting for their families, the anxiety that is still living in their parents, families, relatives and those who have not been found in these many years, “Prime Minister Mustafa said.

Prime Minister Mustafa also expressed the full commitment of the Government of Kosovo to work to elucidate the fate of the missing.

“What I can say as prime minister is that the Government of Kosovo has tried to do and should do everything to shed light to the fate of the missing people, to help the families to have the information to do everything in Brussels and in other contacts with international partners obliging Serbia to open all files and all archives in order to obtain certain information to identify where our people are, for this period of time, still it hasn't been identified where they are, “said Prime Minister Mustafa, expressing his admiration for the work done by the family members and their commitment, but also the great confidence that this process will be elucidated and they will receive information about their relatives.
