The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, attended the opening of the “Te Naseri” factory in Shiroka, Suha Reka, which has about 150 employees.
Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Ramiz Kelmendi, Minister of Trade and Industry, Hykmete Bajrami, Mayor of Suhareka, Sali Asllanaj, other institutional and business representatives.
Prime Minister Mustafa after congratulating the inauguration of the factory, stressed that for Kosovo is of fundamental importance the opening of the workplaces.
The fact that about 150 workers are employed in this factory and that 100 others are expected to be employed, Prime Minister Mustafa has considered a great contribution given to Kosovo at this stage.
Prime Minister Mustafa also said that the Government of Kosovo provided financial support for further regulation of the Economic Zone in Suhareka, congratulating the mayor for all the work he has done for over 60 businesses operating in the area.
“It is a concept of our development that we support the development of economic zones, especially the infrastructure, in order to have business concentration, to free cities from businesses, but also to provide the necessary infrastructure to businesses outside urban areas , as it is here, and I think it is a very successful orientation, “said the prime minister.
Prime Minister Isa Mustafa further underlined his full commitment to work on economic development as the best way to achieve the EU.
“In the EU we should enter as a developed country, a country that respects itself and respects its own people as a country that is ready to compete in the European Union market, especially now when the Stabilization and Association Agreement has been signed, and as a country whose values will be expressed as European values, “said the Prime Minister, expressing the confidence that with the support and empowerment of businesses, Kosovo will move forward.
After the ceremony and factory site visit, Prime Minister Mustafa gave a statement to the media present, assessing the role and activation of businesses in support of the private sector and ensuring economic development.
The Mayor of Suhareka, Sali Asllanaj expressed the pleasure that this industrial area is getting more and more vibrant every day and is now taking a good development.
“We received good news from the Ministry of Trade and Industry to further regulate this area, because some 400,000 euros have been allocated to regulate the infrastructure of this area,” said Mayor Asllanaj, thanking the Government for the support of businesses in Suharekë.
The Chief Executive Officer, Naser Gashi, said that after a very short period of time, this Factory was built. He expressed his conviction that this factory will be very useful to everyone because the products to be offered will be of high quality.
Attendees were also addressed by Johanna Schwab, honorary sister and one of the investors in this municipality, who comes from Austria, who also had a message for the young people of this municipality.
“Now I want to tell you something, especially to you young people: Stay in your homes! Even if you can earn ten kilograms of gold in the West, you can not buy your hometown with anything. I congratulate you for the courage you have to build the industrial zone at this location, “Schwab said.
