Prime Minister Mustafa: US is firmly helping in enhancing the infrastructure of education, science and economy

The Prime Minister if Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, attended the ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the Embassy of the United States of America, on development of the Fulbright Program.

In his greeting speech, the Prime Minister Mustafa thanked the US Government for the help provided to the Republic of Kosovo through such programs, in enhancing the infrastructure of education, science and economy.

Prime Minister Mustafa has called the signing of the memorandum an important day which enables education of the students and youth in the Fulbright Program, a very important program which has provided results in preparing Kosovo students for education, science and economy.

“At the Government we have given our commitment that we will provide our support to this program during this year and other years, which shall enable a lot of our youngsters to study at different levels in the United States of America and these students will then contribute to development of our institutions. We have seen reasonable the participation of our ministries in financing this program, to be of such nature so we could spread our needs to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of European Integration, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, in a way that along the needs that we have for the staff we could also have a stronger interconnection of respective ministries with our people who study in United States of America in this program”, said the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Mustafa added further that this is a special opportunity which is provided to Kosovo and special participation of the United States of America in providing the chance for people of Kosovo to conduct their studies in US.

“Therefore, today I would like to thank the United States of America, through Ambassador Delawie, who is here together with us, and the US Government for everything that they are doing in enhancing the infrastructure of education, science and economy of the Republic of Kosovo and development of our institutions”, said Prime Minister Mustafa.

Also the President of Kosovo Assembly, Kadri Veseli, US Ambassador, Greg Delawie and the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Arsim Bajrami held speeches in front of the participants.
