Prime Minister Mustafa attended the opening of the exhibition

Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, attended the opening of the exhibition “Archaeology 2014”, which was organized in the framework of the celebration of the seventh anniversary of the independence of Kosovo.

With a speech held for the participants of the ceremony, which was attended by President of the Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa stressed that the archaeological heritage, has an exceptional cultural and historical value to every nation and country.

According to Prime Minister, in our case, it shows a rich past of the people and the place that had a highly developed civilization, during historical periods.

“The exhibition today, according to archaeologists, is only a minimal presentation of archaeological heritage values of the country which institutions possess. Regarding this, we will strongly support our relevant institutions for the development, research, study and presentation of the cultural heritage of our country in the future, “said Prime Minister Mustafa.

On his part, the acting director of Kosovo Museum, Milot Mustafa, expressed satisfaction that precisely this exhibition will initiate the celebrations for the seventh anniversary of the independence of Kosovo.

Whereas, the director of the Archaeological Institute of Kosovo, Enver Rexha, by thanking the citizens for artifacts that were submitted last year to the institutions, urged cooperation to continue even further.

Rexha presented for President Jahjaga, Prime Minister Mustafa and other participants the exposed artifacts, speaking about values they represent as well.
