Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Edita Tahiri today met with the British Ambassador in Kosovo, Mr. Ian Cliff, with whom she discussed the latest political trends, promotion of integration into EU and NATO, with particular emphasis being placed on the implementation of the agreement on normalization of interstate relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia.
At this meeting, the two interlocutors praised the overall good relations between our two countries and expressed readiness to strengthen this cooperation both bilaterally and in Kosovo’s road to EU integration, NATO, UN and other relevant international organizations.
Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri stated that the practical implementation of the agreement for the normalization of relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia is a contribution to good neighborliness and European integration and stressed the importance that all parties involved work in the spirit of the agreement and respect deadlines for implementing the plan.
On the other hand, Ambassador Cliff appreciated during the meeting the achievements of the Government, confirming that the United Kingdom will support Kosovo on its path to Euro-Atlantic integration and expressed the full support of his country for the implementation of the agreement for the normalization of relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia.
