The Government of the Republic of Kosovo expresses its disappointment at the refusal of the Serb party to the proposal of Baroness Ashton for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
The EU proposals were a path to peace, stability and European integration for the region, and would have marked the beginning of the end of a historic conflict in the region.
Kosovo has already made a series of compromises, which peaked at the Comprehensive Package of President Ahtisaari.
Likewise, during this whole process, the Government and Institutions of Kosovo have been ready to make decisions that are not easy, but that benefit Kosovo and its European future.
The Government of Kosovo continues to believe that dialogue is the only solution, and it is dedicated to this process.
