The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi, sent a telegram of condolences to his counterpart the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, on the occasion of death of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
The telegram reads:
Esteemed Prime Minister Cameron,
I was pained to receive the news that former Prime Minister Thatcher had passed away at the age of 87.
As we praise the work of former Prime Minister Thatcher at the head of the Government of the United Kingdom in extremely decisive moments, I wish to stress that her great personality will be a positive example for leaders and legislators around the world.
The Institutions and citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, in this moment of grief, express their deepest gratitude for the continued support to Kosovo by the people and Government of the United Kingdom.
Please accept, also on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, my most sincere condolences on the occasion of passing away of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
