At this meeting, Kosovo’s Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi and former Deputy Chief Negotiator for the status of Kosovo, Ambassador Albert Rohan, discussed about the recent political developments in Kosovo, about consolidating and strengthening the democratic state of Kosovo and they talked on other matters of interest.
After thanking Mr. Rohan for his valuable contribution in the negotiations process for the political status of Kosovo, Prime Minister Thaçi briefed him on the work performed by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo in meeting all European criteria and standards for integration.
Prime Minister Thaçi reiterated his position that the Republic of Kosovo has a secure European future and in this view the state of Kosovo is unified, both politically and ethnically, regarding the vision for Euro-Atlantic integration.
Former Deputy Chief Negotiator for the status of Kosovo, Ambassador Albert Rohan stated that he was pleased with the work done in Kosovo and said he was confident that the end of this year will find Kosovo in a process of a successful conclusion of the supervised independence.
Ambassador Rohan once again stated his confidence that the state of Kosovo is a success story and the future of Kosovo shall be, without any doubt, the membership in the European Union and in NATO.
