Today, Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuçi received the European Parliament rapporteur on Kosovo, Ms. Ulrike Lunacek. The Deputy Prime Minister and Ms. Lunacek discussed overall developments in Kosovo, with a special focus on the visa liberalization perspective for the citizens of Kosovo.
Ms. Lunacek acknowledged the progress made in Kosovo and re-emphasized the EU commitment to Kosovo. Ms. Lunacek mentioned the European Union’s clear position in support of the European perspective for Kosovo and the region. She also mentioned that Kosovo will be part of integration processes and that it will not become a black hole in the Balkans.
Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi highlighted the Kosovo Government’s commitment to meet all requirements in the European integration process. He added that this is one of the main priorities of the Government.
