Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi meets students and professors from Johns Hopkins University

Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuçi met with a group of students and professors from John Hopkins University, who came to Kosovo on a study visit.

The Deputy Prime Minister discussed Kosovo’s progress after its liberation, with a special focus on the progress following the declaration of independence.

Deputy Prime Minister Kuçi also highlighted the efforts to promote reconciliation amongst the communities, in helping them overcome the aftermath of the Kosovo War.

The Johns Hopkins students and faculty were briefed on the priorities of the Kosovo Government and its orientation towards the European Union and NATO.

Kosovo’s relations with neighboring countries were also discussed, along with the Euro-Atlantic perspective of the region.

The Deputy Prime Minister stated that Kosovo has good relations with all neighboring countries and he mentioned efforts towards building good relations with Serbia.

The role and the presence of the international organizations in Kosovo, and their contribution to the strengthening of the institutions of Kosovo, were also covered in today’s meeting.
