Honorable Prime Minister Sanader,
The official membership of the Republic of Croatia in the North Atlantic Alliance, NATO, is an important and historic event for Croatia and for the Croat people.
The membership of Croatia with equal rights in NATO is a victory for our region and states which, through Euro-Atlantic integration, are aiming to strengthen peace, stability, sustainable economic development and good neighborliness in the Balkans.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and in my name, I offer the most sincere congratulations for this great achievement, believing firmly that Croatia will strengthen its secure path towards integration into the European Union structures.
